This lovely Blue Asymmetric Hem Dress from Closet London is just one example. With its pretty flower pattern, on trend bell sleeves and midi dress length it makes a perfect choice for ‘Glorious Goodwood’…. but that’s not the end of the story: for different looks and occasions, pair with those statement stilettos, dress down with a pair of trainers and a jacket, or layer under your cosy knit. The Closet London team say: “We love the feeling of wearing your favourite dress in a new (secretly brilliant, can’t believe I never thought of this!) kind of way.” They don’t just love clothes, but are ionate about how you wear them and the stories your style can tell – share your style with #ClosetLondon 5b2l22
The Story Behind The Dress 2z2i5t
Whether it is their famous go-to dress designs, gorgeous separates, tailored jackets or seasonal outerwear, Closet London has a ionate team of designers and pattern cutters who hand-pick prints and fabrics and align them with their flattering signature shapes – all of their garments are still lovingly designed in their London Design Room, just as they have been since 1996.
Not ones to follow the trends or traditional fashion seasons, Closet London instead releases nine collections of limited-edition styles each year, offering customers a fresh new story to be inspired by. By producing regular small collections, they commit to only making what they’re proud of and know you’ll love.
Materials are sourced from fine European mills of the highest quality, such as Ratti and Deveaux, both of which are used by luxury brands alike. They are all renowned, long-established traditional mills who are experts in their craft. Pieces are designed in the heart of East London, and 95% of them are made in a number of factories based in London too. Recent expansion sees them now working with a factory in Morocco, where the Closet London local community spirit continues and care is taken to never compromise the people who make the clothes.
And making and selling clothes is not the end of the story. Closet London donates leftover fabric to nearby schools and colleges, with the focus is not only on recycling but also inspiring local students and allowing them to explore their creativity with fabric. Other leftover fabrics are used to make the gorgeous tote bags that you’ll often find free with your orders!
